The café’s menu boasts an impressive range that caters to every taste: fresh, crisp salads like the Salade César au poulet grillé featuring romaine lettuce, shredded mozzarella, crunchy croutons, savory bacon, capers, and tender grilled chicken, all tied together with a creamy Caesar dressing; or the vibrant Salade Orientale au poulet with baby spinach, quinoa, celery, and red peppers—each salad a refreshing, nourishing option priced thoughtfully at CA$4.19 to CA$11.99.
Pastry lovers will be enchanted by their buttery, flaky croissant au beurre or the decadent croissant aux amandes. For a comforting sweet treat, the brioche à la cannelle and the delicate galette à l’avoine offer just the right balance of warmth and flavor, perfect alongside a carefully crafted beverage. The selection also includes chocolate-filled chocolatines, scones, and a variety of muffins—all freshly baked to golden perfection, inviting you to savor each bite.
The beverage menu is where Café Van Houtte truly shines, especially for coffee aficionados and tea lovers alike. Their expertly brewed coffee consistently earns praise, particularly with their almond milk alternative that delights those seeking dairy-free options. The Matcha Latte provides a silky smooth infusion of finely ground green tea, while the Chaï Latte wraps rich spices in a creamy micromousse milk base. The two ladies who run the shop during the week are why this location is the best in Quebec - the food and coffee are always excellent and the customer service as well. Those two are absolute rockstars and keep my wife and I coming back every time we visit Drummondville!

Coffee and a cafe! So glad we stopped here and my photo doesn't do this place justice.

I truly enjoyed the quiet, cosy atmosphere, even if the cafe was almost full. Service here is always fast and effective.

It's very close to the highway, so a good place to take a quick coffee break, especially if you're traveling between Montreal and Quebec City. We took the Golden (Turmeric) Chai with Oat Milk which is a menu item itself - no customizations. It was great. They have a large seating space for patrons although we did a take out. The lady at the counter was friendly. There's plenty to eat as well. Overall, very much recommended.

I had a fantastic experience at this place, thanks to the attentive and speedy service. The food was amazing and tasty, the coffee is always perfect, and the atmosphere was simply enchanting. Perfect place for remote work because the internet is fast and the ambiance is quite enough. It is a place that I really recommend 100%!
